The Farting Turtle

Hello BikiniKat Fan Club cool cats. In the last blog there were some questions regarding the Farting Turtle. In a nutshell the Farting Turtle can be shown in this example: You're at a party, feeling confident in your new jacket, someone comes up to you and says, "Hey, that's a really interesting jacket, my sister has one just like it, it looked ridiculous on her, but on you, you actually pull it off." Notice the tension in the words, the mixed message the backward compliment. Would you still be confident in your new jacket feeling like you are the kind of person that can pull things off, or would you feel the strange paranoia that maybe you just might look ridiculous too. That's a Farting Turtle. More soon.

Oh Pookie, so many Farting Turtles, I remember being 14 and talking about my weight, and an adult, a superior Farting Turtle, looked at me and said, "but you have such a pretty face." then said nothing about the rest of my body. I felt awkward and invisible after that. Hmm kind of like BikiniKat does in the book...but not for long!
