Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

Why is a story writer a very peculiar creature?
Because his tale (tail) grows out of his head.

Another goofy joke this time from 1001 Riddles, a Platt & Munk fun-time book 1949.

Other books I like.

The complete guide to Self-Publishing by Tom & Marilyn Ross
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum
Jenny and the Cat Club by Ester Averill
No Logo by Naomi Klein

Tell me what books you like.

Thanks Pookie for the super cool book suggestions. I haven't read any of these yet. I see a exciting costume connection between all of these books; circus, drag king and super hero. I love it!

My favorite books are:

Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. It's the saga of a freaky family's traveling carnival whose stars are the children themselves, all products of mom & dad's experiments.

The Lieutenant Nun by Catalina de Erauso. This is the true story of one of Spain's most beloved heroes who had more balls than most. In the 16th century, Catalina broke out of a convent as a young girl, passed herself off as a boy, sailed to the New World and lived a swashbuckling life full of adventure, all the while living in the guise of a man.

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon. Set in the golden age of comic books, this books tells the story of "The Escapist", entwining history, legend and story-telling verve.
