It's a NEW YEAR, yea! we get a do-over

I went to Disney Land, came home, started writing and became antisocial, so much so I dropped the blog for one day too many and then a month slipped by and now it's the Happy New Year all of the sudden. For now I guess I can be a sloppy business person, but I think it's kind of lame that I dropped the blog. At the same time though this is what happens when we try and do things, it can never be as perfect as we want it to be. I had dreams of blogging my little heart out with the enthusiasm of a kitten drinking a bowl of milk. But when I hit a personal snag, the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year's Farting Turtle, I just couldn't make my Smart Sassy Stylish Shiny Shield A Go Go thick enough to protect all you BikiniKat Fan Club members from my negative vibes.

But now it's time for a DO-OVER!

We don't give up or give in. When we drop the ball, we've got to pick it back up no matter how awkward or embarrassing it may be. Sometimes we have to shield ourselves from ourselves.

So if it's writing a novel, learning to play an instrument, keeping a positive attitude, eating more bananas, jumping higher than usual, finishing that knitting project, quitting smoking or being a better person. Get back on the ball. And as my friend Tony says, GET TO WORK.
