Gene Wilder and the Farting Turtle

For those Kool Kats who don't know Gene Wilder he is Willy Wonka from the original movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I was able to present him with a hand made self-inflating farting eyeball, a party favor from the Farting Turtle Cocktail Party, at a book signing he had for his memoir Kiss Me Like A Stranger. Here's how it went.

I laid the self-inflating farting eyeball on the table in front of him and said,
"Mr. Wilder I'd like to present to you this self-inflating farting eyeball as an appreciation of all the joy you've given me and so many other people."

He looked down at it perplexed but with a twinkle in his eye.

And then his handler scooped up the self-inflating farting eyeball said, "Thank you we'll just put this in the pile with all of the other gifts for Gene," she threw it on top of a bouquet of flowers someone else had given him and then she shooed me away.

It was a perfect farting turtle moment. Couldn't of been better.

Farting Turtles, Always Smiling, Forever Leaving Smells.

I LOVE Gene Wilder, not so much though his handler, good thing I was using my Shiny Shield A Go Go.
